29 Oct 09 (853am) - Arrived @ Thomson Medical Center for Dr Chua's appt at 9am. Inserted a pill to induce the labour around 10am. Admited into the normal ward around 12 pm, Waited 24hours...the waiting game has started...
30 Oct 09 (9am) - Cervic only open 1cm. Dr Chua suggested that she will put me into labour ward to burst my water bag, use drip to induce with epidural. But She hint me that process will be very very slow as my cevic only open 1 cm with the pill she had inserted. Seeing how stressful i was, she also recomanded C- section but I was super afraid of that. I asked if I can insert another pill to allow the cevic to open more. She said yes, but if there is still no effect on me then she will need to put drip to induce labour at 7am the next day. A 2nd pill was inserted & the long wait of another 24hours...
31 Oct 09 (7am) - The day I dreaded the most..D day, do or die have to bring out baby alexis..how was i feeling? well.."excitied & tired @ the same time". The nurse brought me & charles to level two (delivery room - how I wish they can deliver Mac breakfast to me..keke). Birth room 8 was assigned to me. @ 834am,Dr Lim (the highly paid anesthesiologist) gave me the most popular choice for pain relief during delivery, yes,ladies..lets say it together...EPIDURAL !! Thank goddness for it as , Dr Lim was very PRO, he chat & crack joke with me to make me feel @ ease,oh ya..he was having a running nose that mrni.. 9am Dr Chua came & check on me again.. cervic still 1 cm open. Gosh.... I was so disappointed!! Water bag was burst after that & I was lying there for 8 hours. Dr Chua came in to check at 3am.. This time round 2cm open.. Aghhhh... I was so piss with myself. Dr Chua had suggest for an C-section around 6pm if thing is still not progressing at all. Feeling useless... I agree... Around 6 pm, Dr Chua came in again to check, still 2 cm. I was being puch into the surgery ward C-section. The feeling is terrible... when they push my bed, my view was only light on the ceiling moving.. I was crying non stop cos on my mind, I am imagining that my tummy is going to be cut.. That is so gross & scary.. when more epidural was inserted in me.. there is a burning feelin on me.. Dr Chua came & see me crying.. She tried to calm me down & proceed with the surgery. With 10 mins... Alexis was carry out of my womb & crying loudly.. In my mind, "that was fast"!! Charles was busy taking Pic Alexis. I was lying there turning my head around looking outside, trying to look for Charles & Alexis. Once Alexis was wrap up, I am allow to carry Alexis. They took Alexis away from me for weighing & measurement. By then I was feeling dizzy & sleepy. I did not see Alexis until the next day...
